January 12th 2010 - February 11th 2010 Garstang Arts Centre Open Exhibition, This annual exhibition invites artists from Lancashire and South Cumbria to exhibit their masterpieces. Most of the paintings are for sale with free admission and refreshments available for all who attend.

February 26th 2010
The Pickerings Lancashire Evening. A chance to listen to all your favourite irish songs and lancashire songs alike, with a traditional lancashire hotpot meal served for all to enjoy.

March 20th 2010 Fundraising Dinner and Disco. This is a wonderful opportunity to raise funds for the Garstang Christmas lights and Victorian Festival. Annually, it attracts many visitors who are each served a two course meal of hot buffet, with a fun disco to enjoy later.

April 24th 2010 Worlds First Fairtrade Town. A chance to celebrate Garstang's 10th anniversary as the World's First Fairtrade Town, with a buffet and live music for entertainment throughout the day.

April 30th 2010 Garstang in Bloom. An opportunity to learn how to make your own unique and stunning hanging baskets. Garstang has won 16 first place prizes in the annual regional competition since 1990.

May 7th 2010- May 16th 2010 Garstang Walking Festival. The event is introduced by the Mayor of Garstang and the Mayor of Wyne, this is a chance for visitors to participate in short, easy or long walks. In addition to the various children's events and canal boat trips; ensuring there is something to do for all the family.

May 31st 2010 Garstang's Children's Festival. This annual event is a chance for visitors to see the many decorative floats, children's spectacular costumes and to participate in the many sporting events running on the day of the Gala Queen being crowned.

June 9th 2010 Myerscough Open Day and Country fair. This is an opportunity for prespective students to see what the college has to offer, as well as taking part in tractor drawn rides, helicopter flights and tug of war competitions.

July 14th 2010
Judging for the North West in Bloom comes to Garstang. All visitors are also invited along to the big clean up on July 13th 2010 in preparation for the judging.

August 7th 2010 Garstang show. Garstang is celebrating it's 195th annual show, including show jumping, shire horses, vintage tractors and various children's activities for all to enjoy.

August 28th 2010- August 29th 2010 Garstang Arts and Music Festival. In the day there will be many street entertainers including magicians and musicians. Through until the evening where there will be an outdoor concert including the talents of Morecombe band and music from John Towers Big Band. Allowing all to participate in the many workshops available or a chance to relax and enjoy the local artists work.

September 2nd 2010 Guy's Oyster Festival. This annual event includes live entertainment alongside good beer and of course, delicious oysters.

October 25th 2010 - October 31st 2010 Garstang Food Festival. In this events special menus will be available including local produce and food tasting. Alongside various workshops and competitions for visitors to take part in.

November 5th 2010 Bonfire Night. A chance to see a spectacular display of fireworks with an equally impressive bonfire. Hot food and drink will be offered to all to enjoy.

December 13th 2010 - December 14th 2010 Victorian Christmas Festival. A chance for children to see Santa just before Christmas. With a hog roast and hot roasted chestnuts available to all visitors. The main high street will be closed for the duration of this event to ensure all visitors safety and to allow them to roam freely whilst finishing any last minute Christmas shopping.
