A great two day event held always in July showing a whole range of crafts and skills associated with the country.
Classes of Pigs, Sheep, Horses, Chickens, and Goats, not forgetting the tractor pull a ‘companion’ dog show, traditional crafts alongside brand new agricultural technology. Many marquees displaying chutneys, cheese, cakes, and flowers.
We also have sheep herding, sheep shearing, bee keeping, a Victorian fun fair, stunt riders, Cumberland wrestling and lots more..
There will be something for everyone. The Fylde area is home to many of Britain’s top breeders and the cattle, sheep, horses, goats and poultry appearing at Great Eccleston are some of the best in the country, and the produce on display is second to none.
